Here we have a button for NCO in the Swedish army during the Great Northern War.
NCO uniforms during this time was paid and bought by the regiment.
How much decorated the uniform was all depends of how much money the regiment have. For example Nerike-Wermlands regiments NCO and regiments musicians was overdecorated with silverbuttons, braids and ribbons.
So the regimentchief must have like much bling bling at the time
